The Client

The Pride Community Foundation is an LGBTQ+ non-profit organisation based in Brighton & Hove. It supports the local community through grant-making, advocacy, and year-round initiatives like United in Pride and Pride City Angels. The Foundation plays a role in promoting equity, inclusion, and wellbeing for LGBTQ+ people across the region.

The Challenge

Pride Community Foundation needed a website that could reflect the full scope of its work—ranging from community-led programmes and grant funding to campaigns like United in Pride and Pride City Angels. The challenge was to build a digital space that could tie this wide-ranging portfolio together while giving each initiative its own voice.

Our Solution

We designed and developed an accessible website grounded in brutalist and neo-brutalist web design aesthetics—bold, purposeful, and unapologetically clear. A vibrant, interchangeable colour system allows each section to have a unique identity while still feeling part of a cohesive whole. This multi-colour approach helps visitors easily navigate the foundation’s diverse services, making them both visually distinct and connected.

To ensure ease of use and longevity, we built the site in Webflow. This keeps ongoing maintenance low-cost and makes it simple for the team to onboard new members or update content without technical barriers.

The result is a powerful digital hub that mirrors the Pride Community Foundation’s bold mission, all while staying flexible and accessible.

We also created a new visual identity for the Foundation, including a custom-designed logo using the typeface CoFo Kabeltouw. The font’s unique, geometric structure was chosen to convey the Foundation’s boldness, seriousness, and commitment to standing out while standing strong.
